There’s a peculiar thing in the air right now in my tiny corner of Ontario, Canada, just a couple of days into the new lockdown.

I’m seeing it as a peculiar nostalgia for the original lockdown, 22 months ago.

This isn’t something that’s overtly spoken on the social media posts…

Millennials started turning 40 in 2020, just in time for the COVID-19 Pandemic. (It figures).

As of this writing, it’s showing precisely zero signs of going away anytime soon, and even if the virus itself is eradicated, its ripple effects will continue to stay with us for a long time.

Facebook has me unable to post, comment, like other posts, or even use Messenger.

As such, I am shifting my usual status updates to Medium.

Here’s the first one. Not gonna lie to you, friends…this sucks.
